At the center of the Delta Atrium the fountain puts on a choreographed water, light and music show and has become and attraction for guests of all ages. As the valley readies itself for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio this month, one of the most important factors is preparing for the desert heat. Don’t be fooled by the valley’s famed “dry heat”…the past few years the hot desert temperatures have taken its toll on music lovers, campers, first aid responders, and vendors alike. So it is fortunate that Koolfog’s heat destroying misting systems and misting fans are manufactured locally and available to clients who have a presence at Coachella.
This year Old Town Artisan Studio “Carts for Art” fundraising event will feature a Koolfog Misting Fan to help golfers and volunteers beat the heat.
This fun charity golf event will be enhanced by having a mister system available throughout the day. Over 75 golfers will participate under the hot desert temperatures expected and according to Rob Blackburn, General Manager of Mountain View Country Club, where the event will take place, “Having misting at Registration and Scoring provides a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for golfers and volunteers alike.”
It’s hard to deny that our misting fans are looking pretty darn good as a backdrop to the H&M models at the Fuse House @ this years Coachella Music and Arts Festival.

The Coachella Music Festival, held in Indio, California, features various musical genres and is considered one of the premier music and cultural festivals in the United States. The three day event showcases sculptural art, alternative bands, hip hop, and electronic music – drawing industry insiders and icons such as Jay-Z, Muse and Gorillaz in 2010.
Coachella concert promoters placed Koolfog misting fans strategically throughout the event venues to cool crowds, artists, food vendors, and employees working in desert temperatures often exceeding 100 degrees. Misting fans helped to combat a real potential for heat stress and added to the ambiance with a “cool”, fun, and unique experience for concert goers.

Panera Bread adds Koolfog misting systems to their Palm Desert, California store after successful experiences using Koolfog in several locations across the country. The new outdoor cooling system is a natural fit for Panera’s signature healthy and relaxing atmosphere and will keep the patio cool and patrons comfortable.
Previously, Panera Bread tried an alternative misting vendor without the results they expected. Koolfog re-designed and re-installed a system to create a consistent misting solution that Panera has implemented in multiple locations. Koolfog is currently working with Panera to design misting systems for new store constructions.
